This equipment was designed and developed with the most strict rules of safety. This equipment must be used for ventilatory support of critically ill patients with respiratory failure, volume and pressure controlled and time cycled, which attends children and adults patients, including morbidly obese adults.
The HORTRON LUNG VENTILATOR supplies a mixture of air environment with oxygen in concentrations adjusted concentrations by the operator using the system for obtaining accurate oxygen concentrations. Besides that, it performs the flow control and pressures in the respiratory circuit to provide the ventilation modalities suitable for the patient's condition.
